The Oude Stadhuis is located on the Grote Markt in the heart of Breda. In this beautiful historic building, weddings and receptions of the mayor take place. The woman with the blindfold and the scales is Lady Justitia. Until the French time, justice was spoken in the town hall. And the first town hall was built in the thirteenth century when Breda got city rights.
