The history of Garrone begins with the father of the current owner, Mr. Leone Garrone. He moved to the Netherlands in 1927 to work at a wine store. His son started selling ice cream when a friend of the family emigrated after World War II and disposed of his ice cream parlor. Thanks to the help of Italian friends and the passion for ice cream, Garrone became the place for the best ice cream in Haarlem. Garrone's ice cream is unique and made with the best products. As for the flavours, you can choose from fruit, nuts, chocolate, cake, beverage and floral flavors.
